"CHOOSING TRUTH"

The TV preachers, your Pastor, or anyone other than yourself can free you from bondage.

It's what they believe that breaks the bonds:

1. it's what you believe
2. It's what you confess.
3. Its what you denounce.
4, Its what you forgive,

From the Gospel of John:

Chap. 8: 32; 34-36; 49- 51; and 56-58

Chap. 14: 6-7

Chap I0: 7-10

Chap, 14: 12

Chap. 13: 20

Chap 15: 26

Chap. 17: 15-19

Ephesians 6: 14

Philippines 4: 8-9

Finally: If we choose the TRUTH; if we assume responsibiiity to know the TRUTH; then we can resist the devil. Our position of being in Christ we must resist the evil; renounce his schemes; and we should confess our sins and forgive those who have offended us. We can do these because Christ has delivered us. AMEN, AMEN, AMEN

John 8:32

32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (ESV)

John 8:34-36

34 Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. 35 The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. 36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. (ESV)

John 8:49-51

49 Jesus answered, “I do not have a demon, but I honor my Father, and you dishonor me. 50 Yet I do not seek my own glory; there is One who seeks it, and he is the judge. 51 Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone keeps my word, he will never see death.” (ESV)

John 8:56-58

56 Your father Abraham rejoiced that he would see my day. He saw it and was glad.” 57 So the Jews said to him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?” 58 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.” (ESV)

John 14:6-7

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.” (ESV)

John 10:7-10

So Jesus again said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. (ESV)

John 14:12

12 “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. (ESV)

John 13:20

20 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever receives the one I send receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me.” (ESV)

John 15:26

26 “But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me. (ESV)

John 17:15-19

15 I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. 18 As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth. (ESV)

Ephesians 6:14

14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, (ESV)

Philippians 4:8-9

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. (ESV)
