Quote: "The true measure of God's love is that He loves without measure." Bernard of Clairvaux
How do we explain God Is? Well easy, God is Love! (1 John 4:8)
1 God is eternal! So, His love has no beginning or ending.
Psalm 90:1-2; "from everlasting to everlasting,"
Psalm 103:17-18: "the mercy (love) of the Lord"
Revelation 1:4-8: "the Alpha and the Omega"
2. God is infinite!! So His love has no limits.
Psalm 147:4-5,7: "mighty in powers"
Job 11:7-12: "God is limitless"
Ephesians 3:17-19: "to know the bye"
3. God is Holy!! So His love is pure.
1 John 3:1-3: "what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us."
Luke 1:49: "Mary's Song"
Revelation 4:8b: "they do not rest day or night"
Quote: "Love is an essential attribute of God." A. W. Tozer

1 John 4:8
8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. (ESV)
A Prayer of Moses, the man of God.
90:1 Lord, you have been our dwelling place
in all generations.
2 Before the mountains were brought forth,
or ever you had formed the earth and the world,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God. (ESV)
17 But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him,
and his righteousness to children's children,
18 to those who keep his covenant
and remember to do his commandments. (ESV)
4 John to the seven churches that are in Asia:
Grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne, 5 and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth.
To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood 6 and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. 7 Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.
8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” (ESV)
4 He determines the number of the stars;
he gives to all of them their names.
5 Great is our Lord, and abundant in power;
his understanding is beyond measure.
6 The Lord lifts up the humble;
he casts the wicked to the ground.
7 Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving;
make melody to our God on the lyre! (ESV)
7 “Can you find out the deep things of God?
Can you find out the limit of the Almighty?
8 It is higher than heaven—what can you do?
Deeper than Sheol—what can you know?
9 Its measure is longer than the earth
and broader than the sea.
10 If he passes through and imprisons
and summons the court, who can turn him back?
11 For he knows worthless men;
when he sees iniquity, will he not consider it?
12 But a stupid man will get understanding
when a wild donkey's colt is born a man! (ESV)
17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. (ESV)
1 John 3:1-3
3:1 See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 2 Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. 3 And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure. (ESV)
49 for he who is mighty has done great things for me,
and holy is his name. (ESV)
8 And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes all around and within, and day and night they never cease to say,
“Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty,
who was and is and is to come!” (ESV)
