"Christmas waves a magic wand over the world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful." (Norman Vincent Peale) Brings on thoughts of being home on Christmas morning, hot cocoa, apple cobbler, a hug and a kiss and a tear of joy seeing Mom and Dad and my siblings; "I'll be Home for Christmas, you can plan on me." (oh those memoirs)

1 HEARD THE BELLS ON CHRISTMAS DAY: Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Luke 2:14 (NKJV). "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good-will toward men."

Many times I have heard, "If Jesus is the Prince of Peace, why is there no peace on earth?" Luke 2:14, reading from the NOG, "Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace to those who have His good-will." Isaiah 48:22 says, "There is no peace for the wicked, says the Lord." We live in a wicked world dominated by Satan and he would want you to believe that:

1. Peace is about nations coming together, it's not.
2. Peace is about communities coming together, it's not.
3. Peace is about families coming together, it's not.

Peace is not about compromise and tolerance. Peace begins with you and me. Everything in the Bible is personal ("choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve..." Joshua 24:15) --- will never be peace until man (all men) invite Jesus Christ, THE PRINCE OF PEACE, to reign over, to Lord over, their hearts and minds.

We don't need compromise and tolerance, we don't need to adhere to the satanic voices and alter our FAITH, no, no, no. We need reconciliation. Luke 15:18-24 (NKJV) "The Prodigal Son" and what we learn about reconciliation:

1. Verse 21, "and the son said I have sinned..." He needed forgiveness.
2. Verse 22, "bring out the best robe..." He needed cleansing.
3. Verse 22, "put a ring on his hand...." He needed redemption.

The son needed to be reconciled to his rightful place with his family, with his father so he asked for forgiveness. Therefore, the father said, "I'll forgive you; I'll cleanse you; and I'll bring you back into the family, a place of fellowship and usefulness. My brothers and sisters, that's Reconciliation.

1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (NKJV)

"The wrong shall fail, the right-prevail." Do you believe it? One day there will be peace on earth, everlasting PEACE. One day He's coming to take His Children HOME. Jesus is:

1. The Alpha and the Omega
2. The Way, the Truth, and the Life
3. The Great I Am
4. The Light of the World
5. The Bread of Life
6. The Resurrection and the Life

Luke 15:18-24

18 I will arise and go to my father, and I will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. 19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Treat me as one of your hired servants.”’ 20 And he arose and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him. 21 And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ 22 But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring quickly the best robe, and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet. 23 And bring the fattened calf and kill it, and let us eat and celebrate. 24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.’ And they began to celebrate.
