"GIVE THANKS!"

Open with CD GIVE THANKS WITH A GRATEFUL HEART
PREFORMED BY SABEErHA CHANDRA.

The man on the roof, we have things in common with this man,
well nearly, you see he was saved by a nail and we were saved
by three nails and a Cross and, best of all, the Blood of the
Lamb. Praise God for nails! This is not this morning's message
so pardon me for a little chasing. Let's get started:

Turn in your Bible to Luke 17:11-16.

1 Chronicles 16:34 (His mercies endure forever!)

Psalm 9:1 (from the heart)

Ephesians 5:20 (giving thanks always with music)

Ephesians 5:4 (the other side: not the heart, not of God) ref.
New Life Version.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (give thanks)

Hebrews 13:15 (the fruit of our lips)

Colossians 3:17 (word or deed)

1 Corinthians 15:55-57 (remember the nails always)

2 Corinthians 9:15 (Mary Did You Know?)

Luke 17:11-16

11 On the way to Jerusalem he was passing along between Samaria and Galilee. 12 And as he entered a village, he was met by ten lepers, who stood at a distance 13 and lifted up their voices, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.” 14 When he saw them he said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went they were cleansed. 15 Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice; 16 and he fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks. Now he was a Samaritan. (ESV)

1 Chronicles 16:34

34 Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
for his steadfast love endures forever! (ESV)

Psalm 9:1

9:1 I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart;
I will recount all of your wonderful deeds. (ESV)

Ephesians 5:20

Ephesians 5:4

Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving. (ESV)

1 Thessalonians 5:18

18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (ESV)

Hebrews 13:15

15 Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. (ESV)

Colossians 3:17

17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (ESV)

1 Corinthians 15:55-57

55 “O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?”

56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (ESV)

2 Corinthians 9:15

15 Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift! (ESV)
